Join Molly Rosen this December for BWC's first ever Ethical Will Workshop in Woodstock, NY, a weekend retreat designed to help you create a personal document to pass onto your peeps if/when your presence is requested at the Gates of Heaven. An ethical will is not a legal document — it is a creative leger meant to encapsulate the Greatest Hits Of Who You Are — a record of meaningful memories, spiritual values, wishes, apologies, advice, failures, successes, favorite recipes, quotes, dirty jokes, anecdotes, and more. Through guided exercises, lots of candy and coffee breaks and thoughtful conversations, you’ll feel empowered to plant the seeds of your legacy in the comfort of like-minded people who’re doing the same. Think rapid-fire free writes, storytelling sessions, connected sharing circles, read-alouds and time to curl up quietly and ask yourself who you are, how you got here and what you want to leave behind. This is not meant to be an emo, breast-beating, depleting weekend — quite the opposite, in fact. No group therapy, trust falls, punching pillows or primal screams allowed. The goal is to touch your mortality in a vibrant space, engage with your past + future self from a place of equanimity, calm and self-reflection and leave with a password-protected Ethical Will document to which you can add as the years go by. Featuring fresh mountain air, nourishing food, fire pits and a one-on-one half-hour Creative CAT Scan with Molly Rosen Guy. Featuring breakfast and lunch daily, plus dinner Thursday night. Lodging not included.
